Dialogue N-S | Perve Galeria | 07.02 - 07.03.2026
PT| A Perve Galeria inaugura no sábado, 7 de fevereiro, entre as 17h e as 20h, a exposição Dialogue N-S, patente até 7 de março de 2026. A mostra reúne artistas de diferentes geografias, propondo um diálogo entre práticas e contextos do hemisfério Norte e do hemisfério Sul.
Integrada nas celebrações dos 25 anos da Perve Galeria, a exposição reflete o percurso da instituição dedicado à Arte Global, promovendo encontros entre territórios, histórias e linguagens artísticas.
No sábado, 7 de fevereiro, Carlos Cabral Nunes, curador e diretor da Perve Galeria — e artista, assinando como Cabral Nunes — realizará uma visita guiada à exposição Dialogue N-S, bem como à sua exposição individual M.ART II, atualmente patente na Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny.
ENG| On Saturday, February 7, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Perve Galeria, in Alfama, Lisbon, will open the exhibition Dialogue N-S, on view until March 7, 2026. The exhibition brings together artists from different geographies, creating a dialogue between practices and contexts from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Presented as part of the celebration of Perve Galeria's 25th anniversary, the exhibition reflects the institution's long-term commitment to Global Art and to fostering connections between territories, histories and artistic languages.
On Saturday, Carlos Cabral Nunes, curator and director of Perve Galeria — and artist, working under the name Cabral Nunes — will lead a guided tour of Dialogue N-S, as well as of his solo exhibition M.ART II, currently on view at Freedom House – Mário Cesariny.

Flowing Upstream by Martin Wöllenstein at VOLTA Basel | Hall 4.U, Congress Center, Messeplatz 21, Basel | 16 - 21 June 2026
ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to present Flowing Upstream, a special project by Martin Wöllenstein (Switzerland), at VOLTA Basel 2026, taking place at Messeplatz Basel, from June 16 to 21, 2026.
Developed in collaboration with the Supreme Masqueraders Society (Ghana) and curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes, the project transforms materials from the Ankos festivities into an immersive installation that reflects on collective memory, cultural value, and processes of transformation within contemporary art.
To activate the space and deepen the immersive experience, a series of performances will take place on:

PT| A Perve Galeria tem o prazer de apresentar Flowing Upstream, um projeto especial de Martin Wöllenstein (Suíça), na VOLTA Basel 2026, que terá lugar na Messeplatz Basel, de 16 a 21 de junho de 2026.
Desenvolvido em colaboração com a Supreme Masqueraders Society (Gana) e com curadoria de Carlos Cabral Nunes, o projeto transforma materiais provenientes das festividades Ankos em Gana numa instalação imersiva que reflete sobre a memória coletiva, o valor cultural e os processos de transformação na arte contemporânea.
Para ativar o espaço e aprofundar a experiência imersiva, realizar-se-á uma série de performances nos seguintes horários:

PT| No próximo dia 14 de janeiro inaugura na Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny, em Alfama, a exposição “M.ART II por Cabral Nunes - 40 Anos de Atividade Artística”. Patente até 28 de fevereiro, a mostra reúne um corpo de obra que sintetiza quatro décadas de prática artística de Cabral Nunes, assinalando o seu regresso às exposições individuais em Portugal após 24 anos a participar em mostras coletivas. Um reencontro maior com uma obra que cruza intimidade, experimentação e imaginação.
ENG| On January 14th, Freedom House – Mário Cesariny, in Alfama, Lisbon, will open the exhibition “M.ART II by Cabral Nunes – 40 Years of Artistic Activity”. On view until February 28, the exhibition brings together a body of work that synthesizes four decades of Cabral Nunes’ artistic practice, marking his return to solo exhibitions in Portugal after a 24-year hiatus. A major reunion with an oeuvre where intimacy, experimentation, and imagination converge.

ARCOlisboa | Cordoaria Nacional | 28 - 31.05.2026
ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming edition of ARCOlisboa, taking place at Cordoaria Nacional, in Belém, Lisbon, from May 28 to 31, 2026, with the first day accessible by invitation only.
At booth L01, Perve Galeria presents an exhibition which, curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes, bridges generations and geographies from the Portuguese-speaking countries and the Global South, showcasing artworks by João Artur da Silva (b. 1928, Portugal/UK/Canada), Teresa Roza d'Oliveira (1945-2019, Mozambique/Portugal), Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim (b.1962, U.A.E.), and Time For The Oniric (b. 1997, Portugal).
On May 29 and 30 (Friday and Saturday), we highlight the debut performance "Time for the Oniric: In Times of Despair", presented by the Portuguese duo at 5:00 pm at Perve Galeria's stand L01.
PT| A Perve Galeria tem o prazer de anunciar a sua participação na próxima edição da ARCOlisboa, que decorrerá na Cordoaria Nacional, em Belém, de 28 a 31 de maio de 2026, sendo o primeiro dia reservado exclusivamente a convidados.
No stand L01, a Perve Galeria apresenta uma exposição que, com curadoria de Carlos Cabral Nunes, estabelece uma ponte entre gerações e geografias dos países de língua portuguesa e do Sul Global, reunindo obras de João Artur da Silva (n. 1928, Portugal/Reino Unido/Canadá), Teresa Roza d’Oliveira (1945–2019, Moçambique/Portugal), Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim (n. 1962, Emirados Árabes Unidos) e Time For The Oniric (n. 1997, Portugal).
Nos dias 29 e 30 de maio (sexta-feira e sábado), destacamos a performance inédita "Time for the Oniric: In Times of Despair", realizada pela dupla portuguesa, às 17h00, no stand L01 da Perve Galeria.

PT| A Perve Galeria inaugura na terça-feira, 17 de março, entre as 17h e as 20h, a exposição coletiva “Ars Mater”, patente até 4 de abril de 2026, em Alfama.
A mostra assinala os 26 anos de atividade do Colectivo Multimédia Perve naquele bairro histórico de Lisboa, reunindo obras das coleções da Perve Galeria e refletindo um percurso dedicado à valorização de práticas artísticas frequentemente marginalizadas, com especial atenção aos contextos dos países de língua portuguesa e do Sul Global.
ENG| On Tuesday, March 17, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Perve Galeria will open the collective exhibition “Ars Mater”, on view until April 4, 2026, in Alfama, Lisbon.
The exhibition marks the 26 years of activity of the Colectivo Multimédia Perve in the neighborhood, bringing together works from Perve Galeria’s collections and reflecting a trajectory dedicated to the visibility of artistic practices often marginalized by dominant narratives, with particular attention to Portuguese-speaking contexts and the Global South.
