ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming edition of Investec Cape Town Art Fair, taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from February 19 to 22, 2026, with the first day accessible by invitation only.
At booth B3, Perve Galeria presents an exhibition curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes, featuring leading artists from the Lusophone world, Teresa Roza d'Oliveira (b. 1945, Mozambique/Portugal), Renée Gagnon (b. 1942, Canada/Portugal), José Chambel (b. 1969, São Tomé and Príncipe) and João Donato (b. 1953, Mozambique), alongside a special tribute to Ukrainian resistance through the work of Bogdan Gulyay (b. 1980, Ukraine), an artist who continues to live and work in Kyiv.

ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to announce its participation in London Art Fair 2026, which will take place at the Business Design Centre, Islington, from January 20 to 25, with the first day exclusively open to invited guests.
At booth E15, Perve Galeria will present a curated project that brings together artists from Lusophone regions and the Global South, featuring works by Time For The Oniric (Micaela Guedes & Carina Prazeres), Renée Gagnon, José Chambel, Marya Al Qassimi, and João Artur da Silva. Bridging historical and contemporary voices, the exhibition addresses urgent themes such as memory, decolonial narratives, cultural heritage, gender, identity, and surrealist strategies.

Estabelecendo pontes entre vozes históricas e contemporâneas, a exposição aborda temas urgentes como memória, narrativas decoloniais, património cultural, género, identidade e estratégias surrealistas.

"Everything to Learn" - 25 Anos da Perve Galeria | Perve Galeria's 25th Anniversary | 2.11.2025 - 17.01.2026
PT| A Perve Galeria tem o prazer de anunciar a inauguração da exposição "Everything to Learn", que celebra os 25 anos de atividade da galeria, no dia 2 de novembro de 2025, entre as 17h00 e as 20h00.
Curada por Óscar Faria, a exposição, que ficará patente até 17 de janeiro, inspira-se na obra homónima de Mário Cesariny e reúne artistas relevantes no panorama português que ainda não possuem representação galerística. As suas obras dialogam com peças das coleções e acervos da Perve Galeria e da Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny, criando pontes entre diferentes gerações e práticas artísticas.
Durante a inauguração, o público poderá assistir a performances de Vanda Madureira, Thierry Simões e Martin Wöllenstein.
O evento inclui também a reabertura do 27ARTe, espaço de arte contemporânea ao ar livre, acessível 24/7, inaugurado em 2022, com a instalação site-specific da dupla Time For The Oniric (Micaela Guedes e Carina Prazeres), e a inauguração da nova configuração da mostra "(O)postos Coincidentes".
ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition "Everything to Learn", celebrating 25 years of the gallery's activity, on November 2, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Curated by Óscar Faria, the exhibition, on show until January 17, takes inspiration from the homonymous artwork by Mário Cesariny and brings together a group of artists who, despite their relevance within the Portuguese art scene, remain without gallery representation. Their works are presented in dialogue with pieces from the collections and archives of Perve Galeria and the Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny, creating a bridge between different generations and artistic practices.
During the opening, visitors will be able to attend performances by Vanda Madureira, Thierry Simões, and Martin Wöllenstein.
The event also includes the reopening of 27ARTe, an outdoor contemporary art space, accessible 24/7, opened in 2022, with a site-specific installation by the duo Time For The Oniric (Micaela Guedes and Carina Prazeres), and the opening of the new configuration of the exhibition Coincident Opposites.

PT| No próximo dia 23 de setembro, entre as 17h e as 20h, inaugura-se na Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny a exposição “(O)postos Coincidentes”. A mostra apresenta os resultados do programa de residências artísticas promovido pela Perve Galeria, reunindo obras de José Pedro Oliveira, Sara Santos, Ruca Bourbon e Time for the Oniric (dupla composta por Micaela Guedes e Carina Prazeres), vencedores da open call homónima.
Lançada no início de 2025, esta open call assinalou três importantes efemérides: os 75 anos da 2.ª e última exposição d’Os Surrealistas, os 50 anos das Independências dos PALOP e os 25 anos da Perve Galeria. Entre mais de uma centena de candidaturas recebidas e 28 projetos finalistas, foram selecionados quatro artistas emergentes, cuja prática artística se materializa agora nesta exposição inédita.
“(O)postos Coincidentes” estará patente até 20 de dezembro na Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny.

ENG| On 23 September, between 5pm and 8pm, the exhibition 'Coincident Opposites' will open at Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny. The exhibition presents the results of the artist residency programme promoted by Perve Galeria, bringing together artworks by José Pedro Oliveira, Sara Santos, Ruca Bourbon and Time for the Oniric (Micaela Guedes and Carina Prazeres), winners of the open call of the same name.
Launched in early 2025, this open call marked three important anniversaries: the 75th anniversary of the 2nd and last exhibition of the Portuguese Surrealist group from the 1940s, 'Os Surrealistas', the 50th anniversary of the independence of the portuguese-speaking countries, and the 25th anniversary of Perve Galeria. From over a hundred applications received and 28 finalist projects, four emerging artists were selected, whose artistic practice is now materialised in this unprecedented exhibition.
'Coincident Opposites' will be on display until 22 November at Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny.
