ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming edition of Investec Cape Town Art Fair, taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from February 19 to 22, 2026, with the first day accessible by invitation only.
At booth B3, Perve Galeria presents an exhibition curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes, featuring leading artists from the Lusophone world, Teresa Roza d'Oliveira (b. 1945, Mozambique/Portugal), Renée Gagnon (b. 1942, Canada/Portugal), José Chambel (b. 1969, São Tomé and Príncipe) and João Donato (b. 1953, Mozambique), alongside a special tribute to Ukrainian resistance through the work of Bogdan Gulyay (b. 1980, Ukraine), an artist who continues to live and work in Kyiv.

No stand B3, a Perve Galeria apresenta uma exposição com curadoria de Carlos Cabral Nunes, destacando artistas dos territórios lusófonos, Teresa Roza d'Oliveira (n. 1945, Moçambique/Portugal), Renée Gagnon (n. 1942, Canadá/Portugal), José Chambel (n. 1969, São Tomé e Príncipe) e João Donato (n. 1953, Moçambique), a par de uma homenagem especial à resistência ucraniana através da obra de Bogdan Gulyay (n. 1980, Ucrânia), artista que continua a viver e a trabalhar em Kiev.

PT| A Perve Galeria inaugura no sábado, 7 de fevereiro, entre as 17h e as 20h, a exposição Dialogue N-S, patente até 7 de março de 2026. A mostra reúne artistas de diferentes geografias, propondo um diálogo entre práticas e contextos do hemisfério Norte e do hemisfério Sul.
Integrada nas celebrações dos 25 anos da Perve Galeria, a exposição reflete o percurso da instituição dedicado à Arte Global, promovendo encontros entre territórios, histórias e linguagens artísticas.
No sábado, 7 de fevereiro, Carlos Cabral Nunes, curador e diretor da Perve Galeria — e artista, assinando como Cabral Nunes — realizará uma visita guiada à exposição Dialogue N-S, bem como à sua exposição individual M.ART II, atualmente patente na Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny.
ENG| On Saturday, February 7, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Perve Galeria, in Alfama, Lisbon, will open the exhibition Dialogue N-S, on view until March 7, 2026. The exhibition brings together artists from different geographies, creating a dialogue between practices and contexts from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Presented as part of the celebration of Perve Galeria's 25th anniversary, the exhibition reflects the institution's long-term commitment to Global Art and to fostering connections between territories, histories and artistic languages.
On Saturday, Carlos Cabral Nunes, curator and director of Perve Galeria — and artist, working under the name Cabral Nunes — will lead a guided tour of Dialogue N-S, as well as of his solo exhibition M.ART II, currently on view at Freedom House – Mário Cesariny.

PT| No próximo dia 14 de janeiro inaugura na Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny, em Alfama, a exposição “M.ART II por Cabral Nunes - 40 Anos de Atividade Artística”. Patente até 28 de fevereiro, a mostra reúne um corpo de obra que sintetiza quatro décadas de prática artística de Cabral Nunes, assinalando o seu regresso às exposições individuais em Portugal após 24 anos a participar em mostras coletivas. Um reencontro maior com uma obra que cruza intimidade, experimentação e imaginação.
ENG| On January 14th, Freedom House – Mário Cesariny, in Alfama, Lisbon, will open the exhibition “M.ART II by Cabral Nunes – 40 Years of Artistic Activity”. On view until February 28, the exhibition brings together a body of work that synthesizes four decades of Cabral Nunes’ artistic practice, marking his return to solo exhibitions in Portugal after a 24-year hiatus. A major reunion with an oeuvre where intimacy, experimentation, and imagination converge.

ReKN | Happening 7: الأصول — Al-Usoul | Exhibition by Appointment
ENG| On November 27th, Perve Galeria co-hosted the special event and exhibition "الأصول — Al-Usoul (The Roots)" at ReKN – Renaissance-Era Kinship Nexus, the artistic and cultural space founded by Sheikha Maryam Al Qassimi (artist name: Marya Al Qassimi), in Ajmal Makan, Sharjah, U.A.E.
Co-curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes and Marya Al Qassimi, this marks ReKN's 7th Happening and the 5th in collaboration with Perve Galeria. The accompanying exhibition brings together artists from the U.A.E., Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Germany, Lebanon, and Iraq, inviting reflection on roots as a symbolic territory where cultures, histories, and human narratives shape contemporary creative expression.

Co-curada por Carlos Cabral Nunes e Marya Al Qassimi, este foi o 7.º Happening do ReKN e o 5.º realizado em colaboração com a Perve Galeria. A exposição reúne artistas dos E.A.U., Portugal, Brasil, Moçambique, Alemanha, Líbano e Iraque, convidando à reflexão sobre as raízes como território simbólico, onde culturas, histórias e narrativas humanas moldam a expressão criativa contemporânea.
