PT| Entre os dias 25 e 31 de maio, a aPGn2 - a PiGeon too, segundo espaço da Perve Galeria em Alcântara, apresenta um pop-up de Geometrias do Futuro, a nova exposição individual da dupla portuguesa Time For The Oniric. Integrando obras inéditas, este primeiro momento da mostra convida o público a mergulhar no universo imersivo e distópico das artistas durante os dias da ARCOlisboa, onde também participam.
A inauguração oficial da exposição terá lugar no dia 4 de junho, entre as 17h00 e as 20h00, permanecendo patente até 15 de agosto.
ENG| From May 25 to 31, aPGn2 - a PiGeon too, the second space of Perve Galeria in Alcântara, presents a pop-up preview of Future Geometries, the new solo exhibition by the Portuguese duo Time For The Oniric. Featuring previously unseen artworks, this first chapter of the exhibition invites the public to immerse themselves in the artists' dystopian and immersive universe during the days of ARCOlisboa, where the duo will also be presented.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on June 4, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and the exhibition will remain on view until August 15.

Em Geometrias do Futuro, a aPGn2, o segundo espaço da Perve Galeria, em Alcântara, transforma-se num ambiente imersivo onde pintura, instalação e experiência sensorial convergem num universo de transição entre sonho, memória e futuro. A exposição apresenta uma nova série de obras inéditas da dupla portuguesa Time For The Oniric (Micaela Guedes e Carina Prazeres, n. 1997), incluindo instalações interativas e materiais inesperados que convidam o visitante a mergulhar plenamente no imaginário das artistas.
Em 2025, Time For The Oniric integrou o grupo dos cinco vencedores da open call lançada pela Perve Galeria no âmbito do seu 25.º aniversário, realizando posteriormente uma residência artística em Lisboa, após a qual passou a ser representada pela galeria. Entre cores ácidas, tonalidades psicadélicas e composições densamente povoadas por símbolos, figuras e criaturas antropomórficas, a dupla constrói um vocabulário visual onde o subconsciente, a crítica social e a dimensão distópica coexistem. Em Geometrias do Futuro, a "geometria" surge não como uma estrutura rígida, mas como uma cartografia emocional e intuitiva, onde formas, memórias e emoções se reorganizam constantemente.
Através de uma estética maximalista influenciada pelo surrealismo, pela cultura visual dos anos 90, pelo kitsch, pela street art e pelo dadaísmo, as artistas exploram dualidades como luz e sombra, máscara e persona, desejo e repressão. As obras funcionam como portais para diferentes estados mentais, tornando tangíveis emoções ocultas, traumas e narrativas interiores. Mais do que uma exposição, Geometrias do Futuro propõe uma experiência de imersão num organismo visual vivo, onde o imaginário se torna indissociável do presente e das possibilidades do futuro.

In Future Geometries, aPGn2, the second space of Perve Galeria, in Alcântara, is transformed into an immersive environment where painting, installation, and sensory experience converge within a universe suspended between dream, memory, and future. The exhibition presents a new series of previously unseen works by the Portuguese duo Time For The Oniric (Micaela Guedes and Carina Prazeres, b. 1997), including interactive installations and unexpected materials that invite visitors to fully immerse themselves in the artists’ imaginary world.
In 2025, Time For The Oniric was among the five winners of the open call launched by Perve Galeria as part of its 25th anniversary programme, subsequently undertaking an artistic residency in Lisbon, after which the duo became represented by the gallery. Through acidic colours, psychedelic tones, and compositions densely populated by symbols, figures, and anthropomorphic creatures, the artists construct a visual vocabulary where the subconscious, social criticism, and dystopian dimensions coexist. In Geometrias do Futuro, “geometry” emerges not as a rigid structure, but as an emotional and intuitive cartography in which forms, memories, and emotions are constantly reorganised.
Through a maximalist aesthetic influenced by surrealism, 1990s visual culture, kitsch, street art, and Dadaism, the artists explore dualities such as light and shadow, mask and persona, desire and repression. The works function as portals into different states of mind, rendering hidden emotions, traumas, and inner narratives tangible. More than an exhibition, Future Geometries proposes an immersive experience within a living visual organism, where the imaginary becomes inseparable from the present and from the possibilities of the future.
