PT| A Perve Galeria inaugura na terça-feira, 17 de março, entre as 17h e as 20h, a exposição coletiva “Ars Mater”, patente até 4 de abril de 2026, em Alfama.
A mostra assinala os 26 anos de atividade do Colectivo Multimédia Perve naquele bairro histórico de Lisboa, reunindo obras das coleções da Perve Galeria e refletindo um percurso dedicado à valorização de práticas artísticas frequentemente marginalizadas, com especial atenção aos contextos dos países de língua portuguesa e do Sul Global.
ENG| On Tuesday, March 17, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Perve Galeria will open the collective exhibition “Ars Mater”, on view until April 4, 2026, in Alfama, Lisbon.
The exhibition marks the 26 years of activity of the Colectivo Multimédia Perve in the neighborhood, bringing together works from Perve Galeria’s collections and reflecting a trajectory dedicated to the visibility of artistic practices often marginalized by dominant narratives, with particular attention to Portuguese-speaking contexts and the Global South.

PT| A Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny inaugura na terça-feira, 17 de março, entre as 17h e as 20h, a exposição “2MM: Reinata Sadimba e Ernesto Shikhani”, patente até 25 de abril de 2026.
A mostra apresenta obras inéditas destes dois mestres da arte moçambicana contemporânea, destacando a relevância e projeção internacional das suas trajetórias, e o diálogo entre tradição, memória e modernidade nas suas práticas artísticas.
No mesmo dia, inaugura na Perve Galeria a exposição coletiva “Ars Mater”, patente até 2 de abril de 2026, que celebra os 26 anos de atividade do Colectivo Multimédia Perve em Alfama.
ENG| On Tuesday, March 17, from 5 pm to 8 pm, Freedom House – Mário Cesariny will open the exhibition "2MM: Reinata Sadimba & Ernesto Shikhani", on view until April 25, 2026.
The exhibition presents previously unseen works by these two masters of Mozambican art. The show highlights the relevance and international recognition of their artistic trajectories, emphasizing a dialogue between tradition, memory and modernity in contemporary African art.
On the same day, Perve Galeria will open the collective exhibition "Ars Mater", on view until April 2, 2026, celebrating the 26 years of activity of the Colectivo Multimédia Perve in Alfama.
ReKN | Happening 7: الأصول — Al-Usoul | Exhibition by Appointment
ENG| On November 27th, Perve Galeria co-hosted the special event and exhibition "الأصول — Al-Usoul (The Roots)" at ReKN – Renaissance-Era Kinship Nexus, the artistic and cultural space founded by Sheikha Maryam Al Qassimi (artist name: Marya Al Qassimi), in Ajmal Makan, Sharjah, U.A.E.
Co-curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes and Marya Al Qassimi, this marks ReKN's 7th Happening and the 5th in collaboration with Perve Galeria. The accompanying exhibition brings together artists from the U.A.E., Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Germany, Lebanon, and Iraq, inviting reflection on roots as a symbolic territory where cultures, histories, and human narratives shape contemporary creative expression.

PT| A 27 de novembro, a Perve Galeria coorganizou o evento especial e inaugurou a exposição "الأصول — Al-Usoul (The Roots / As Raízes)" no ReKN – Renaissance-Era Kinship Nexus, espaço artístico e cultural fundado por Sheikha Maryam Al Qassimi (nome artístico: Marya Al Qassimi), em Ajmal Makan, Sharjah, E.A.U.
Co-curada por Carlos Cabral Nunes e Marya Al Qassimi, este foi o 7.º Happening do ReKN e o 5.º realizado em colaboração com a Perve Galeria. A exposição reúne artistas dos E.A.U., Portugal, Brasil, Moçambique, Alemanha, Líbano e Iraque, convidando à reflexão sobre as raízes como território simbólico, onde culturas, histórias e narrativas humanas moldam a expressão criativa contemporânea.

Não Há Morte na Morte de Cruzeiro Seixas | There is no Death in the Death of Cruzeiro Seixas
PT| A 8 de novembro de 2023 assinalam-se três anos sobre o falecimento de Artur do Cruzeiro Seixas (1920-2020). Lembramos com carinho e saudade o grande mestre, membro fundador do anti-grupo "Os Surrealistas", cuja obra e legado continuam a inspirar e influenciar a expressão criativa das gerações mais jovens. Celebramos a vitalidade do seu trabalho na História da arte com o pré-lançamento do livro “Não Há Morte na Morte de Cruzeiro Seixas: Evocação, tributo e celebração da vida e obra”. Numa edição limitada e numerada, este reúne as várias iniciativas dedicadas ao autor, realizadas ao longo de mais de 20 anos pela Perve Galeria e a Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny.
ENG| 8 November 2023 marks three years since the death of Artur do Cruzeiro Seixas (1920-2020). We remember with affection and saudade the great master, founding member of the anti-group "The Surrealists", whose work and legacy continue to inspire and influence the creative expression of younger generations. We celebrate the vitality of his work in art history with the pre-launch of the book "There is no Death in the Death of Cruzeiro Seixas: Evocation, tribute and celebration of life and artwork". In a limited and numbered edition, it brings together the various initiatives dedicated to the author, organised over more than 20 years by Perve Galeria and Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny.
